Happy women's day! Or really??
March 8- a day that the world has dedicated to is.. a day that reminds everyone of the wonderfully amazing things that a women does in her lifetime.. the umpteen number of roles that she so effortlessly manages to finish in the perfect manner! A day wherein Facebook and whatsapp statuses are all about us!!
But wait! Are you guys really able to celebrate the beauty of womanhood?? I for myself woke up today morning to leave home.. Believe me when I say this that i got too scared to go alone.. I speak here for a number of women... For everytime that we travel alone there would be at least one sad experience. So! Hey women of this country! U wanna travel alone?? Then be a sport and get ready to take in many states, dirty comments and of course the occasional pokes! My friends and I had this bitter experience at the railway station last day.. when two lady staff's started shouting non morale words to us girls travelling alone... This particular event was an eye opener to me.. For i realised the situation is just too worse! Even women are taking part in the gun of mistreating women! So ladies! Do know this.. Even if you are at the right place at the right time , for some, you simply are at the right place at the wrong time ask the while!
What have our rulers done to make the situation better? Well they did ban the documentary titled ' India's. Daughter.. Now that's worth something huh..! And the reasons for the ban?? Inexcusable! Not to mention the comments passed by some of our ruling leaders.. So ladies if u wanna live here then be prepared to struggle..Many a time you would feel like fighting but then you realise you were caged in the prison of society..
Women's day! Y z it celebrated again?? To respect women huh? Jus one lil reminder.. A wings are of no use to a caged bird! Open the bars and let them fly.. Let them enjoy the beauty of ' womanhood!!😊😊💃💃💃
